My answer is simple. A school will give us the best opportunity to help form a deep and lasting faith in hearts of children. Lutheran schools have a proven and verifiable track record of spiritual formation that goes well beyond what we can provide in Sunday school and mid-week programs.

We all may feel in our darker moments that it would have been better to never have been born. And most certainly Jesus felt the same as he struggled in the Garden of Gethsemane wanting the cup of suffering to pass. And that he would not have to go to the cross. But as we wait on the Lord and in his word put our hope relief and resurrection will come.
